Waiting Room relaunches with new features and support options
Our Waiting Room website which showcases a variety of health and wellbeing services for people of all ages across London has launched a new version following user feedback.
The website has a new, friendlier website address – londonwaitingroom.nhs.uk – as well as introducing a host of powerful features, this marks a major step forward in making mental health and wellbeing support more accessible for everyone.
What’s new?
- A powerful map-based search tool to find local and in-person support quickly
- A redesigned account dashboard with enhanced mood, goal and activity tracking
- Daily tailored content and intelligent resource recommendations
- Expanded support for children, adults, parents / carers and professionals
- Accessibility improvements and information pages for deeper learning

Commenting on the launch of the updated website, Dr Rosa Town, Network Lead for Waiting Room said;
I’m really excited to launch the newest version of Waiting Room, which incorporates feedback from our users to make it easier and faster than ever to access support for mental health and wellbeing.
The website was also recently shortlisted in the ‘Improving Mental Health through Digital’ category at the HSJ Digital Awards 2025 which recognises a team or system that is using digital services to deliver better care, put service users at the centre of care services, engage the community and reduce stigma. This highlights the platform’s role in providing valuable information and resources for people seeing wellbeing support across London.
