1. On what date did the Tavistock GIDS first transfer the GIDS waiting list to Arden and Gem? I was a clinician at GIDS at the time and have a rough idea on this timescale, but would like the exact date.
2. How many young people were on the waiting list at that initial point of transfer from GIDS to Arden and Gem? I was a clinician at GIDS at the time and have a rough idea on the number, but would like the exact number.

1. On what date did the Tavistock GIDS first transfer the GIDS waiting list to Arden and Gem? I was a clinician at GIDS at the time and have a rough idea on this timescale, but would like the exact date.

a. From July 2021, referrals from General Practitioners and other non-CAMHS/paediatric referrers were handled by NHS Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit’s referral management service. Please contact NHS England for figures around those referred to NHS Arden & GEM.

b. Since October 2022 all referrals from any referrer were redirected to Arden&GEM.

c. Since Thursday 23 March 2023, GIDS no longer held nor managed the waiting list for Children and Young People’s Gender Dysphoria Services. The waiting list and all new referrals were then being held by Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England.

2. How many young people were on the waiting list at that initial point of transfer from GIDS to Arden and Gem? I was a clinician at GIDS at the time and have a rough idea on the number, but would like the exact number.

• Waiting list numbers from July 2021 only include those referred to GIDS from CAMHS and paediatric services, plus rejected referrals.
