Welcoming our new Head of Child Psychotherapy
Dexter Benjamin has been appointed as our new Head of Child Psychotherapy.
Dexter first came to the Trust as a student back in 2007. He began working for the Trust in 2011 as a Visiting Lecturer and became a permanent member of staff in 2017 working in Fostering, Adoption and Kinship Care, as well as being the lead for our psychoanalytic studies course.
Dexter said, “I am very happy to be appointed. The discipline has grown under the fantastic leadership of Katie Argent and I hope to follow in her footsteps.”
Dexter is aiming to raise the profile of the discipline and the Trust through publications, research and continued clinical excellence, in collaboration with other disciplines.
