New Stakeholder Governor appointed
Peter Ptashko FRSA has been appointed as the new Stakeholder Governor for the Trust from March 2022.
Peter has been appointed to represent Camden Council as the local authority Stakeholder Governor.
Peter has lived in Camden for over 10 years and has been active in the community across a variety of organisations. He has worked in social enterprise for the last 15 years, and is currently a consultant and CEO of his own company which supports social businesses to start and grow.
Governors are the link between our members and directors who make decisions about our services. They are responsible for representing the views of members and partner organisations to the Board of Directors, and feeding back information about the Trust and its performance..
Kathy Elliott, Lead Governor, said:
‘I’m very pleased that Peter Ptashko will be joining the Council of Governors as a Stakeholder Governor (local authority). Peter brings a wealth of knowledge about Camden and will strengthen the Council of Governors understanding and links to Camden Council.’
Peter Ptashko, new Stakeholder Governor (local authority), said:
‘The Tavistock is an important institution in the local area. At a time when funding and support for local institutions are falling away the Tavistock stands as one of those doing incredibly important work. I hope to bring my governance and social business skills as Stakeholder Governor, as well as foster connections with the local authority.’
