The National i-THRIVE Programme support resources for children, young people and families during social unrest

With violent far-right riots happening across the country at the moment, we would like to offer support to staff and cared for children, foster carers, and parents by providing some useful resources below.

We want to share solidarity and offer support particularly to parents and children of colour who will be extremely fearful and worried at this time.

Please find a list of resources that offer advice and guidance with regards to supporting emotional resilience during this traumatic time.

Tavistock and Portman’s Laverne Antrobus was featured on Sky News’ For Your Information show to give advice to young children who may be afraid after the recent stabbings in Southport.
