A message from our Chair and CEO: Death of Her Majesty The Queen

Chair John Lawlor and Chief Executive Paul Jenkins have expressed their sadness on the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen, and extend their deepest condolences to the Royal Family on behalf of everyone at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.

John and Paul said:

“We are deeply saddened at the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. We offer our sincerest condolences to the Royal Family, and to everyone for whom this news will cause immense sadness.

“For more than seven decades, Her Majesty has been a constant source of strength for the country, and people around the world, particularly in the Commonwealth. Her unwavering commitment to public service during her reign is an example of the finest generosity, humility and resilience.

“We have lost a reassuring and containing figurehead for the nation. Honouring her memory will continue to inspire us all, and we look forward to joining with colleagues, friends and family over the coming days to pay tribute to her immense contribution.”
