1. I would like to know the average wait time for adult mental health services for; 2024 so far, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020.
2. I would like to know how many people are currently on the waiting list for adult mental health services.
3. I would like to know currently what is the longest someone has been waiting to access mental health services, and what was their condition/reason for being on the waiting list.
4. I would like to know how many people in the last year – April 2024 to April 2023 – didn’t turn up for their appointment after being on the waiting list.
5. I would like to know how many people have died in the last year – April 2024 to April 2023 – whilst being on your waiting list.

1,298 patients were awaiting a first appointment for mental health services, as at the end of April 2024.

3. I would like to know currently what is the longest someone has been waiting to access mental health services, and what was their condition/reason for being on the waiting list.

207 weeks was the longest waiting time for a first appointment, as at the end of April 2024 (Trauma Unit)

4. I would like to know how many people in the last year – April 2024 to April 2023 – didn’t turn up for their appointment after being on the waiting list.

242 patients DNA’d (did not attend) a first appointment between 1^st April 2023 to 30^th April 2024

5. I would like to know how many people have died in the last year – April 2024 to April 2023 – whilst being on your waiting list.

Three patients died whilst on the adults mental health services waiting list, during the financial year 2023/24.
