I would be grateful if you could prioritise the questions below in the order they are given.
1.
a. The total amount paid in waiting list initiative payments (and other higher rate additional payments for weekend and evening work) to consultants for the following financial years
- i) 2023-24
- ii) 2022-23
- iii) 2021-22
b. The five highest totals of such payments paid to individual consultants, stating the department of each consultant, and how many sessions and hours they worked, for the 2023-24 financial year.
c. The maximum hourly rate or session rate for such payments for the 2023-24 financial year (if providing by session please state length of session (in hours).
- During junior doctor strike days since March 2023 and up to and including the one in late June / early July 2024 please provide the five highest hourly rates paid to consultants to provide cover, stating their normal department and what department they providing cover in, and the date of payment and how long their shift was for

Your request for information about Waiting List Initiative Payments is not applicable to our Trust as we do operate services under this initiative, to which this information would apply.
Please note that The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is a small specialist mental health Trust, and not a hospital. We provide daytime only appointments for outpatient, and mainly psychological, services. We do not provide acute services, nor inpatient patient services, and do not have an A&E department.

The Trust did not have any consultants covering the junior doctor strike days from March 2023 and up to and including the one in late June/early July 2024.
