We cannot provide the data you have requested, because we do not hold our data in a way that this can be extracted. The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is a small specialist NHS mental health trust with a focus on training and education, as well as providing a range of outpatient, and mainly psychological services via talking therapies
We do not provide acute services, nor inpatient patient services, nor detention facilities, and do not have an A&E department. Our aim is to understand the internal, emotional, and unconscious forces at play which may lead someone to develop mental health problems, rather than to give a psychiatric diagnosis, as the Trust’s clinical delivery approach is informed by formulation rather than diagnoses.
We do not formally diagnose adults and ICD-10 discharge diagnosis codes do not form part of the Trust’s specialist psychoanalytic and psychodynamic based approach to working with adults
Whilst there may be identified co-occurring conditions that meets diagnostic criteria, the substantive clinical offer is psychotherapeutic and psychological in nature, and so we would not aggregate pathway modelling, based on diagnosis.
We do not formally diagnose children as we operate within the THRIVE model and provide a service based on need rather than a diagnosis. We developed the model in our services and this takes a no tier no wrong door, population approach to CAMHS. The model and its implementation details can be found here: www.implementingthrive.org
Accordingly, and for the reasons explained above, we would not be able to electronically extract from our records those patients presenting with the conditions you have listed in your questions, and cannot provide the answers you seek.
