Your request for information, as detailed in your email below, has been considered by the Trust.
The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is a small specialist NHS mental health trust with a focus on training and education, as well as providing a range of mental health services and therapies for children and their families, young people and adults. We provide outpatient, and mainly psychological services via talking therapies. We do not provide acute services, nor inpatient patient services, nor detention facilities, and do not have an A&E department.
The Trust does do not provide treatment specifically related to cannabis and cocaine use, and does not hold data on individuals seeking help for these indications.
As a predominantly psychotherapeutic trust, significant drug use requiring specific treatment is a relative contraindication to exploratory work and patients presenting with this as the primary concern would be directed towards local addiction or core mental health services. These types of difficulties would be treated within addiction services if of significant impact.
