Your request for information, as detailed in your email below, has been considered by the Trust.

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is a small specialist outpatient  and mental health Trust, with a focus on training and education, and is not a hospital.

We provide outpatient, and mainly psychological services via talking therapies. We do not provide acute services, nor inpatient patient services, nor detention facilities, and do not have an A&E department.

 

  1. How many of your employees are defined as lone workers or high-risk staff?

This cannot be quantified as a number. We are not an acute Trust (– see above explanatory note), and the Trust does not identify any particular staff group/s as ‘lone workers’.

Some of our staff work out of a range of non acute settings and they could potentially find themselves in a ‘lone worker’ situation on an ad hoc basis.
