Not applicable.  .  Current contract was a direct award under NHS LPP Framework

  1. What are the names of the companies or service providers who were awarded these tenders?

Not applicable – see our response to Q1 above.

We are currently under contract to DA Languages under framework ref NHS LPP.

  1. What are the contract values or spend details associated with each awarded tender (this includes booking volumes and price per booking type)

Not applicable – see our responses to Q1 and Q2 above.

We do not record our translation and interpreting data and costs in a way that enables us to split out booking volumes and price per booking type, as we have a single accounting code to record all types of interpreting and translating as a single expenditure type per invoice period.  .

We can, however, provide details of annual spend by financial year April to March:

  • April 2023 to March 2024 £117,572.77
  • April 2022 to March 2023 £46,787.64
  • April 2021 to March 2022 £82,425.49
  1. When does the contract/s end and is there any option to extend? If so, when is the Trust planning for the next tender?

The current framework contract ends March 2026, with no options to extend.
