Please note that a clinician’s job title and banding, or clinical grade is not an accurate indicator of whether or not they can conduct a diagnostic assessment and offer end-to-end interventions within the pathway.
The GIC service employs a multi disciplinary approach to meeting patient needs on the pathway. As such it is difficult to create logic that responds to the question as set out. What we are able to do, is discrete to pathway delivery as it involves all disciplines, is to outline, by their job titles, those qualified clinicians who hold a core professional qualification and have been fully trained in gender practice to deliver assessment and diagnosis.
