  1. An electronic list of all courses in your establishment that have closed in the last three years.

a. Postgraduate Courses

i. Working with complex needs in contemporary social work practice (M45) – this PG diploma is not actively recruiting at the moment, but it’s not been completely discontinued / removed from website either

ii. • Introduction to counselling and psychotherapy (BD12) – this blended version of the trust certificate is no longer running, just D12 & ED12 remain.

iii. • Understanding trauma: Principles and practice (D18) – this trust certificate course is no longer running.

iv. • Psychodynamic psychotherapy with couples (D59C) – this clinical training is no longer running

v. • Psychoanalytic thinking at work (DAL004) – this online trust certificate is no longer running, pointing to D12/ED12 instead.

vi• We are no longer running Child, adolescent and family mental wellbeing multidisciplinary practice (D24G) in Stroud

b. CPD Courses (Continuing Professional Development)

On the CPD front the concept of course closure is vague – a course may be resting subject to lack of interest or availability of teaching staff. Some courses are restructured and have a new code but are essentially a continuation in terms of staffing etc.

 

Considering Portfolio CPD in the last three years – we retired the following in their current format:

  • they may be resurrected with a new team and revised content.
  • Whilst some courses are retired, new ones replaced some to meet the needs of the market.

 

    i.           CPD10 Working effectively with gender diverse children, young people and their families – connected to closure of GIDs
  ii.           CPD116 Talking to Children about Difficult Things (although to be replaced with an online version soon)
 iii.          CPD20 Best Interest Assessors
iv.           CPD20b BIA Refresher
  v.           CPD25 M16 Seminars: (Psychoanalytic Studies Theory Module): Psychoanalysis then and now: From Freudian to post-Kleinian thought
vi.           CPD36 Working with and facilitating groups
vii.           CPD50 An introduction to working with people with eating disorders and body dysmorphia
viii.           CPD59 Become a Mental Health First Aider
ix.           CPD66 Working with Couples
  x.           CPD91g Course 7: Risk assessment and management in perinatal mental health

 

  1. Number of staff redundancies, staff contracts not renewed for financial reasons.

The Trust confirms that there have been no redundancies resulting from cessation of the above courses.
