All our services do this

We feed into a Shared Care Record called the HIE (Health Information Exchange)

d. Evaluation of young people’s outcomes following engagement with services?

Yes, across all our services, and we are working to improve our collection of data in this area through a quality improvement project

e. A young people’s advisory group or official mechanism for young people to feed into service design and improvement?

Yes – we have a range of opportunities supported by our Patient and Public Involvement Team

Yes.  We do not diagnose children as we operate within the THRIVE model therefore we provide a service based on need rather than a diagnosis. We developed the model in our services and this takes a no tier no wrong door, population approach to CAMHS. The model and its implementation details can be found here: www.implementingthrive.org

8. Do young people have to be referred to access a mental health support service? Please answer yes or no and elaborate if necessary.

No – we do accept self-referrals for a number of our services and we have a public facing platform to support children, young people and their parents/carers access a range of help and support options: Welcome to the Waiting Room (nclwaitingroom.nhs.uk)
