Regarding the “Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy” since 2000.

1. What aspects of this course covered the ‘gender affirmation’ model – and specifically the prescribing of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

None.  Having checked the content of the Professional Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy course over the period 2020 to 2023 with course leads both current and past, the Trust confirms that no parts of this course covered the ‘gender affirmation model’ nor the prescribing of puberty blockers nor cross-sex hormones during that period.
