All Types of Pesticides Used by the Trust

I would like to request the following:

1. A list of all -cides used by the Trust. This is inclusive of, but not limited to: any and all avicides, biocides, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, and rodenticides.
2. The annual cost and volume of purchase of each of these -cides, broken down by -cide, from January 2014 to December 2024. Please list this on a spreadsheet (CSV), broken down by:

a. -Cide

b. Product Name

c. Volume Purchased

d. Price Paid

e. Purchase Date

3. A list of each of these -cides’ use, by volume.

4. Only if available and easily accessible, the location and purpose of each specific -cide’s use. For the former, this may be classified by: location grouping, address, coordinate, or otherwise.

Through this I am trying to ascertain whether the purchased volume is matched by the used volume, so if there is a record of expired or unused -cides too, that would be ideal. Please add this to the above CSV as an additional column, also on an annual basis over the same time period. Please list volume in either litres or kilograms, whichever is more appropriate.

For all of the above, please only list -cide use for facilities not managed by NHS Property Services. Where relevant, also include the -cide use of defunct Trusts now integrated into the current Trust.

Our third party maintenance contractors use just one product, Gallup360 for Weed Control.

2. The annual cost and volume of purchase of each of these -cides, broken down by -cide, from January 2014 to December 2024. Please list this on a spreadsheet (CSV), broken down by:

The Trust does not hold this data as the product is purchased by our third party maintenance contractors.

We can confirm that the only “-cide” product, as you call them, is purchased by our appointed maintenance contractors, and the Trust does not hold data on the contractor’s procurement prices nor volumes purchased.

3. A list of each of these -cides’ use, by volume.

Our appointed third party maintenance contractors only use Gallup at our grounds – a glyphosate-based herbicide used for routine weed control. We do not use any avicides, biocides, fungicides, insecticides, pesticides (other than Gallup), or rodenticides.

In line with our retention policy and current legislative requirements, records are only held for the past three years. Therefore, data is available from 2021 onwards and this is provided in the attached csv file, and has been pasted below for our own ease of reference..

No data is held from any other Trusts now integrated into our organisation. NHS Property Services–managed sites are excluded.
