The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is not a hospital, and does not provide acute services, though we provide junior doctors to supplement some local acute hospital mental health services.
We occasionally use locum doctors when there is a gap in shift-cover which we cannot fill but have already committed to provide, for which we are reimbursed in full.
As the net hire costs are nil to us, due to full reimbursement, as explained above, we do not have a set budget to spend on locum doctors.
