The Trust confirms that it does not use any Managed Service (MSP) or MV or an external Bank supplier for the recruitment of agency staff.

The Trust does not use any MSP or MV suppliers.  See response to Q4 below.

  1. What steps do the Trust take to ensure suppliers are paying their fair share of taxes and acting with integrity.

The Trust only engages directly with temporary staffing agencies/consultancies via standard NHS contract terms or via the agency’s own standards of business engagement which our procurement department deem acceptable.

Subsequently our outsourced bought ledger partner SBS (Shared Business Services) conducts due diligence checks on all new suppliers prior to opening a trading account for them.

Any agency’s unethical business practices brought to the attention of our staff would be escalated via our Procurement and local management teams for any further actions.

Once an agency has been vetted and engaged we do not actively monitor their business ethics compliance nor their payments to the inland revenue and/or compliance to other fiscal requirements..
