Step-free public transport

The nearest step-free stations (from platform to street) are West Hampstead Overground and Thameslink stations. The C11 bus, which has level boarding, goes from these stations to a stop close to the Tavistock Centre (alighting at Finchley Road / College Crescent).

All London buses and licensed black cabs are step-free with a ramp.

Quiet route by public transport

Trains and buses can get very busy during peak hours. Finchley Road, where the nearest Underground stations and some bus stops are, is a very busy and noisy 4 lane road with a lot of people walking around.

Although further, the walk from Belsize Park Underground station* is much quieter in comparison and largely along quiet residential streets.

*Belsize Park underground station does not have escalators, and you are required to use a lift or walk up stairs.

Bus routes 46 and 603 stop very close by, opposite the Tavistock Centre, on Fitzjohn’s Avenue. Bus route 268 stops nearby on Buckland Crescent, a quiet residential street.

Coming by bicycle

We have many secure bike racks outside our main entrance.

Coming by car

There is a limited amount of on-street parking available in the area.
