Career advice slots are one-on-one, 25 minute sessions for prospective students who are interested in studying a course at the Tavistock.
Due to popular demand, all slots have now been filled. Register your interest to be the first to hear when a slot becomes available.
What are career advice slots?
Career advice slots are one-on-one, 25 minute sessions with one of our academic staff members to discuss the career opportunities that the Tavistock can offer. Prospective students who are interested in study at the Tavistock can book a slot to get in-depth advice about how to achieve their career goal. You will have the opportunity to discuss the different pathways we offer and what you need to do in order to achieve your end goal. We advise you come prepared with questions you would like answered so you can make the best use of your time.
Who are career advice slots for?
Career advice slots are for prospective students interested in studying at the Tavistock. You may be a career changer, or maybe you want to enhance your current skills. You may not know exactly what it is you want to do, but we hope by the end of the session you will be better informed.
These slots are not for students who are currently studying with us. However, if you have previously studied one of our courses and are looking to come back and aren’t sure what you want to do these slots are a good way to discuss your options.
Who will be delivering the slots?
Some slots will be delivered by senior members of the Trust. No matter who you see on your chosen date we can assure you that our academic staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience to provide you with the best advice and guidance.
When do the career advice slots take place? And how do I book?
We have arrange of dates and options for you to attend a slot. We deliver slots:
- face to face
- via telephone
- via video chat.
Each slot will last 25 minutes. Below you will see our available slot dates and the area of specialism of the academic staff. Where possible please try and book with the person related to your area of interest. Once you have booked your slot we will contact you with further details about your booking.
Slots are offered on a first come first serve basis. If all slots are booked or there isn’t a slot available at a convenient time or date then don’t worry we will be adding more dates throughout the year. Alternatively you can attend one of our open events.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend your booked slot please give us 48 hours notice so your slot can be given to someone else. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call Loresa Dragusha on 0208 938 2702.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your slot it will be automatically cancelled.
