What information can I find out at the open day?

Our online open days allow you to find out the same information as at our face to face events. You can attend a welcome talk with our Dean, hear a live Q+A session with some of our current students and then head off to different Zoom sessions to hear from our course teams about their courses. These sessions also allow for questions from visitors.

Do I need to do prepare anything before attending the open day?

No. It can be useful to have a think about the things that you would like to find out as there is plenty time for questions from our visitors.

How do I book on to the sessions?

In order to attend the sessions that you want, you must register using the 'Book now' link for each session that you want to attend. This is because there are unique links for each of the sessions that you will need in order to join in.

I can't find the Zoom link to join the sessions I have booked, what do I do?

We will email you the links on either the 24 or 25 June, before the event starts. Please check your Junk email folder for our email. If you still cannot find them, please email us at and we will get back to you.

Can I join more than one course session?

Yes! We have scheduled some course sessions more than once so that you can attend as many as you can fit in!

Is the event recorded?

No. Due to privacy laws we cannot record the event.

I have never used Zoom before, is is safe and easy to use?

Yes. Zoom is very safe and simple to use. Before the open day we will send you an email with all the linked information you need to join in the sessions that you have pre-booked. There is some helpful information about how to use Zoom here.

Why is the open day online and not face to face?

Although many Covid-19 precautions are no longer required in shops and on transport etc, our courses are taught from a working NHS clinic and the NHS is regulated slightly differently due to the fact that many vulnerable people use our building. We still have some capacity restrictions in place and therefore cannot host the number of people that attend our events in one space.

What if I cannot attend on the day?

Please don't worry, we understand that life can be very busy. We host a number of open events throughout the year, please keep an eye on Open days and open evenings for full details.
