Open days and evenings in 2021

We are delighted to run a number of events throughout the year to help you in your decision making before and during your application to us.  As well as holding our large, Trust wide open days we also offer a number of course specific events, throughout the year.  You are welcome to attend as many as you like.

Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches (D10) 

Tuesday 9 March 2021 from 6-8pm 

Sign up to our introductory seminar which will be run by members of the course management group - participants need to commit for the full two hours ideally. The different modules of the course will be presented by module leads and brought alive through experiential exercises, including live work with organisational material brought by one of the seminar participants. There will be time for questions about the course. A recent graduate or current student will usually take part and be available to respond to questions about the course.

Child, adolescent and family mental well-being: multidisciplinary practice (D24)

Tuesday 9 March 2021 from 6-8pm

This event is for anyone who works with children, young people or families experiencing emotional distress or behavioural difficulties. This can include teachers who have a broader remit than purely academic, teaching assistants, school counsellors,  youth workers , social workers, CAMHS clinicians, health visitors, psychologists. Meet the course lead and have a chance to ask your questions.

Our Psychoanalytic studies (M16) course specific open evening is aimed at people from a wide range of professions who are interested in either incorporating in deepening their understanding of work through the use of psychoanalytic concepts, or who wish to undertake a psychoanalytically informed clinical training, either with adults or children.
