Open days and open evenings

We are delighted to run a number of events throughout the year to help you in your decision making before and during your application to us.  You are welcome to attend as many as you like.

Covid-19 update: The health of our open event attendees and our staff and students is a priority.  For now, all of our information events will be conducted online via Zoom.

As well as our main open days and open evening, we are delighted to run a number of events throughout the year which are course specific.  These events give you a chance to meet the course team, some current students and ask lots of questions!  You can attend as many events as you like - they are all free but booking is essential.


Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches (D10/ED10) 

Join us for our course introductory seminars. We have a number of events that you can pick from for our Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches (D10/ED10) course.

Validated by the University of Essex this course will develop you as a leader, consultant or manager by giving you a fuller understanding of the human dimensions of organisational systems and helping you to develop a ‘consultative stance’ to organisational dilemmas and opportunities.

*We recommend that students attending will be able to stay the duration of the seminar to get the most of the evening.

This is the entry level course to our adult psychotherapy cluster of professional training programmes and it is suitable if you are taking your first steps towards a qualification in counselling or psychotherapy.

Systemic approaches to working with individuals, families and organisation (D4) 

  • Tuesday 22 March 2022 6.00-7.00pm 
  • Tuesday 17 May 2022 6.00-7.00pm

You will develop an understanding of systemic theory and practice which will underpin your work with diverse families and organisations. It is the most advanced prequalifying course in systemic approaches and constitutes the best preparation for the clinical training in the UK it is validated by the University of Essex and accredited by The Association of Family Therapy (AFT).

*Both foundation and intermediate courses will be covered in the open evenings.
