We are delighted to be hosting interactive online webinars in February 2017. Attendance is free – all you need to do is register for a place and we will send you all the details via email. Each webinar will last appropriately 45 minutes and will include time for questions and answers.
Our webinars will be delivered by Sadegh Nashat, a consultant clinical psychologist and systemic psychotherapist. He is currently a lecturer in family psychotherapy at the University of Geneva and the Lead Clinical Tutor for its clinical psychology programme.
Sadegh is an honorary consultant clinical psychologist and visiting lecturer at the Tavistock and Portman, where he worked for 12 years as the Lead for Child and Adolescent Primary Mental Health Training.
Many psychological interventions have been developed to work with children, adolescents and families. It is not always easy for practitioners working with young people to have a clear idea about what works best.
This exciting webinar will briefly introduce some of the major approaches to working therapeutically with children. It will show how interventions need to be multi-modal and will talk about the factors that will make them more effective. The presentation will especially focus on the innovative work done at the Tavistock and Portman, which integrate psychodynamic, developmental and systemic interventions.
This webinar will begin at 11am GMT on Saturday 25 February 2017. In order to book your place, please complete our online booking form. A few days before the event, you will be emailed some very simple instructions that will allow you to join in the webinar so please keep an eye on your email. Please note that places are limited and will will be allocated on a first booked, first served basis.
