Course inductions in Welcome Week

The majority of our courses hold an induction in Welcome Week to help welcome and familiarise students before the start of teaching.  Unless specified, these will take in person at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust building at NW3 5BA.

As well as your course induction, there are a number of student group drop in sessions - please see the details below.

Please note: Students studying at one of our National Centres should contact their centre for induction details.

Welcome Week 2022 for new students

Please find below the induction timetable, which will include an induction with the Library and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) teams.

All induction sessions for our London based courses, unless specified, will take in person at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust building. (NW3 5BA)

If your course requires a DBS check, please bring your DBS documentation with you on the day of your course induction. All students that require a check will need to speak to a member of staff face-to-face, even if you are a member of the online update service. Your DBS times will be listed below as part of your induction timetable as a timetabled slot. You can attend at any time during this time slot. DBS appointments will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Please look for your course and note the date and time of your induction.  If you can't see your course listed below, we have some courses that have their induction outside of Welcome Week - please see the details in the second tab.
