Alumni, current students and staff are warmly invited to join us for the presentation of the prize, to hear the winning paper, and to participate in a discussion.

The winner

This year’s winner is Maryam Ghasemi , a former student of our Psychoanalytic studies Masters course. Her paper, ‘Rockaby: Eros and Thanatos’, is about a short play by Samuel Beckett.

At the prizegiving event Maryam Ghasemi will present her paper, followed by a discussion.

Presentation of the £250 prize by Kate Robertson will conclude the event.
