We invite all of our members, along with our patients, students, staff, and the wider public, to attend our 2021 Annual General Meeting.

4pm: Welcome from Board Chair, Paul Burstow.
Thematic event: equality, diversity and inclusion: a focus on education and training
4.05pm: Paul Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer will introduce the topic.
4.10pm: Brian Rock, Director of Education and Training and Dean, will revisit the pledge he made at the time of the anniversary of George Floyd’s murder to adopt an anti-racist stance, and promote and sustain a diverse environment and an inclusive culture.
4.15pm: Paul Dugmore, Associate Dean, will discuss student data the Trust collects on race and other protected characteristics, in order to identify areas where the Trust can become a more inclusive environment for under-represented students.
4.30pm: Laverne Antrobus, Consultant Child & Educational Psychologist and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, will talk about the race equality initiatives the Trust has put in place to date (including bursaries, mentoring and targeted recruitment events for under-represented students), and feedback from current and previous students.
4.45pm: Q&A on the topic of equality, diversity and inclusion: a focus on education and training.
Formal business and governance
5.10pm: Introduction, Board Chair.
5.15pm: Proposal for a change in the constitution, to increase the number of Non-Executive Directors (read the proposal, PDF), George Wilkinson, Lead Governor.
5.30pm: Annual review and tabling of the Annual Report (read the Annual report, PDF), Chief Executive Officer.
5.45pm: Questions from the public.
5.55pm: Announcement of the voting result.
