Special 'Inside Out' screening a success
10 March 2017
Our Patient and Public Involvement team would like to thank Digital Cinema Media (DCM) for their recent support of a special screening of Pixar film Inside Out, arranged for some of our younger service users and their families.
Inside Out tells the story of a child forced to movie cities, and the conflict between her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - as she navigates a new city, house, and school.
The sold out screening also involved a guided discussion from child psychiatrists
Emilios Lemoniatis and Cris Kowalski and an exploration of the themes of emotions and mental health.
We would like to give special thanks to Cally and Alan at DCM for their hard work and hosting us at their wonderful cinema space in Euston, and hope to be able to offer similar events for our service users again in the future.
