Issues with our Trust email service

Update: This issue has been remedied as of Wednesday, June 7. 

We are aware of an issue that has been impacting the Trust email service since 10am on Tuesday 6 June.

Where the issue occurs an email is successfully sent but is then held in a queue on our email service and are thus delayed in its delivery.  This delay can vary from 1 hour to 24 hours. No emails are lost – all will be delivered once they pass the queue on the email system. The issue is affected a portion of sent emails only and is not impacting all email accounts. 

The ICT team is continuing its investigation into the issue and will provide a further update shortly.
