CPD64 News Story

Developing a diverse child and adolescent workforce: an introductory course (CPD64) is the only access course run by the Tavistock.  It enables front line workers to study about child and adolescent development and observation skills for free. It is also a launchpad to pursue further training at the Tavistock via a funding stream called the Training Skills Escalator.
This course is for those who are currently working with children within a London borough and have no degree level qualification in any subject area.

This free programme leads to further training opportunities and develops your career.

See what our students have said about this course:

“This course was a gift that was given to me to fulfil my potential and goals that otherwise I couldn’t have…”

“It was one of the best courses I have ever done, informal but very informative.  Hearing other people’s views was an eye opener - it really improved my listening skills.  My relationship with the young people I work with has improved and observation has really improved my memory. It also helped me progress in my work.”
