Book Launch – A Good Enough Mother by Bev Thomas

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to host the paperback launch of 'A Good Enough Mother' by Bev Thomas.
A Good Enough Mother is set in the world of psychotherapy and Bev Thomas will be reading from and talking about her debut novel with her colleague Francesca Cardona.
Bev and Francesca will be discussing the themes of the book - as well as the challenges and joys of putting your professional world at the heart of a fictional narrative.
About the novel
Ruth Hartland is a exceptional trauma therapist. She is also a mother with a missing seventeen year old son, and when she sees a new client who bears a striking resemblance to her son, personal and professional boundaries are blurred to devastating effect.
The book explores motherhood, grief and loss and draws heavily on Bev's previous work as a clinician.
About the author
Bev Thomas worked as a Clinical Psychologist and now works as an Organisational Consultant and coach. She is an Associate with Tavistock Consulting and A Good Enough Mother is her debut novel.
