1. Could you please provide me with an understanding of how your Trust defines OH and EAP respectively? What elements/criteria do you measure to track the provision of each?

• The employee assistance programme is open to employees to access independently and made up of telephone and online services and resources, including a limited number of counselling sessions.
• The OH service require direct referral either for pre-employment checks and vaccinations, or for in work referrals for conditions impacting on or impacted by work attendance.

2. Could you also please provide a breakdown of how much the trust spends on OH and EAP respectively from the total spending figures you have provided in your initial FOI response? [24-25284 Occupational Health Services]

• We receive regular management information to show how many of each type of OH intervention have been provided as well as how many people access counselling / log into the online resources.
• The EAP costs are in the region of £3-5k.
