Mike Swinburne is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who trained at the Tavistock Clinic and has worked there since 2005. His background is in psycho-social care for individuals with schizophrenia and severe personality disorders and he has a particular interest in the application of psychoanalytic thinking to residential care and supported housing environments. He has worked with a wide variety of patients in outpatient and residential settings, most recently in a therapeutic community for traumatised military veterans.
